This is what I looked like today. I had two moles ("beauty marks") removed several weeks ago, and my dermatologist and I weren't satisfied with the way they healed. One of the moles healed with a bit of a ragged edge, and the pigment came back in the other mole. So today I got lasered. Zapped.
I can't believe that people get this kind of thing done on their entire faces. Yeeouch! And scary... The two little spots on my nose are scary enough that I felt like I'd rather wear this dorky band-aid than subject my co-workers and the general public to scary oozey nose. You can sort of see the other one on the under-part of my nose - a big ole red spot. I hope that it's a lot less scary on Monday when I go back to work. Boo!
