to my Socka-Pal with love

These are the Monkey socks I sent to my Sockapalooza pal. She said that she didn't really like variegated, crazy-colored socks, and she wasn't too sure about "lace" socks. I thought this might be just the yarn and pattern to change her mind on both accounts. It's Cookie's Monkey pattern from Knitty and STR Silkies in Walk on the Wild Tide. Mmmm... Yummy!

She asked for plain pink stockinette socks with a picot trim, and maybe a ribbon around the top. So I made her these, too:

Sockapalooza Socks

Look at these lovelies! These are the Sockapalooza 4 socks I received from Sarah. They are Cookie A.'s BFF socks, and they are lovely. Sarah also sent two very delicious looking chocolate bars and some fancy knitterly notecards. Thanks, Sarah!
